Learn to sew with us! If you’ve ever fancied making your own clothes or have done in the past but feel a bit rusty, then this is the workshop for you! It’s open to complete beginners too as it’s the perfect place to start your dressmaking journey. Stevie is a simple tshirt shape but made in a woven fabric. We’ll cover the basics like cutting out, adding a patch pocket as well as finishing gems and necklines.

All materials will be provided (there will be a choice of cottons and linens on the day) as well as a digital copy of the pattern and instructions for you to make it again at home! Tea, coffee and biscuits will also be supplied for a lovely morning of sewing and conversation.

Our workshops are held at Sew Confindent, unit 68, Morris Park, 37 Rosyth Rd, Glasgow, G50YE

Everyone sews at different speeds so we can not guarantee that everyone will compete their garment within the allocated time. I’ll make sure that all skills are covered so that the garment can be completed at home if it’s incomplete when the workshop ends.
